Pattern House
FILL YOUR MUG IN HELENA!

1229 E. Lyndale Ave.
Helena, Montana

The Pattern House. This building is why we named the Helena locations by a different name. Built in 1897, the building has had varied uses such as pay master in the early days for the Northern Pacific Railroad, to a pattern building workshop for the foundry that ran next door. In the 90’s, the former owners of Morning Light Coffee, Paul and Donna Anderson put a huge effort into transforming this beast into a beauty. The details of this achievement are longer than is possible to list, but the final results are worth the trip to see. The incredible inviting ambience is delightful to observe while sipping a fresh roasted cup of coffee. We do rent out this location because of its popularity and location in Helena. Although centrally located in the Capital City, it is obscure to find, just go east from “mal-function junction”(where Montana Avenue, Helena Avenue, and Lyndale meet) on Lyndale and we are on the first building on the right.
